Our Story

Raquel Tavares, a Brazilian born native turned quintessential Californian loves traveling, cooking, hanging with her two boys, playing around with home mixology and to create products for her peers.

Her love for creating often lands her in new environments and in the summer of 2022 she went to Paris and Bordeaux, France where to study French.

In the Summer of 2022 she fell in love with the Aperitif-Spritz and the craft cocktail and set about to start something fresh.

Raquel is also the founder of 4th & Heart which is an line of upgraded ghee butters, spreads and oils, so she’s no stranger to putting a modern twist on yesterday’s classics.

She’s spent the past 18-months working on the brand, formula and building out her incredible team. She likes to surround herself with the best-in-class executives to keep her on her toes.

So far, so good. With the help of her team Paramour will launch in Spring of 2024 – almost two years after conception.

On the sides of our bottles and on our caps, you’ll find our version of a “Johnny Walker”…we like to call her, the girl on the swing.

Paramour translates directly into ‘lover’. Whether a secret affair or bold liaison, our interpretation defines Paramour as a risk-taker—a lover of life or an irresistible passion which compels immediate pursuit, because we want to encourage our consumers to go after such pursuits.

Our colorful array of aperitifs unveils a symphony of botanicals, citrus botanicals, subtle bitters and a modest sweetness free from artificial colors of flavor.
